1 Introduction
KidLearn ("we", "our", or "us") is an educational app designed for children ages 3–7. We are committed to protecting the privacy of children and their families. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a parent or guardian.
2 Information We Collect
We do not collect any personally identifiable information from children. KidLearn does not require account registration, login, or any personal details to use the app. All learning progress and star rewards are stored locally on your device only and are never transmitted to us.
The app uses the following third-party services that may collect limited, non-personal technical data:
Collects anonymised usage statistics (e.g. app sessions). No personal data or child information is collected. Used solely to improve app performance.
Automatically reports technical crash information to help us fix bugs. No personal or identifying information is included in crash reports.
Displays ads to support free access to the app. All ads are served in non-personalised mode in compliance with COPPA and GDPR. AdMob does not use personal data to target ads.
3 Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
KidLearn is designed for children under 13. We comply fully with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA):
- We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13
- We do not allow children to share personal information within the app
- There is no chat, social feature, or external link accessible to children
- All ads shown are family-safe and non-personalised
If you believe your child has provided personal information, please contact us at tuspal@gmail.com and we will delete it immediately.
4 Data Storage
All app data (progress, stars, profiles) is stored locally on the device using encrypted local storage. We have no access to this data. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data.
5 Third-Party Links
KidLearn does not contain any links to external websites or third-party services accessible to children during gameplay.
6 Parents and Guardians
We encourage parents to supervise their child's use of the app. As a parent or guardian you have the right to:
- Review any data associated with your child
- Request deletion of any data
- Opt out of analytics by contacting us
The in-app Parent Dashboard lets you monitor your child's progress, total stars earned, and activities completed at any time.
7 Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
